Mr. Amarant served as CEO of several successful small businesses in the casual furniture manufacturing industry as well as the oil and gas industry. His positions included President and CEO of Resort Casual Furniture, Molla Furniture and Tradewinds Outdoor Furniture. Previously, Mr. Amarant was CEO of Alpha Environmental, an oil pollution and recovery company which contracted its services to the U.S. government to remediate oil spills in South Florida.
Mr. Amarant began his career in the U.S. Navy where he completed Officer Candidate School and a post graduate program, two deployments in Vietnam and astronaut recovery for the Apollo 11 mission.
Edwin D. Johnson has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Casella Waste Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CWST), a non-hazardous waste services company, since December 2012. From July 2010 until that date Mr. Johnson served as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Casella. From March 2007 until 2010, Mr. Johnson served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Waste Services, Inc. (Nasdaq: WSII), a similar waste services company of like size.
Prior to 2007, Mr. Johnson served in senior officer positions in various telecom infrastructure companies, serving as the CFO of MasTec (NYSE: MTZ) and President of Able Telcom (NYSE: A), technology companies, serving as CFO of Mortgage.com (Nasdaq: MTGE) and a real estate services firm, serving as CFO of Expert Realty and also held Board seats with Atwoods plc an international waste services company based in London, and Able Telcom, Inc. (Nasdaq: ABLE). Mr. Johnson received his MBA from Florida International University, his BS in Accounting and Administration from Washington & Lee University and is a Florida CPA.
Marc Osheroff is a Florida-based entrepreneur and commercial real estate magnate. Since 1992, Mr. Osheroff has acquired numerous Medical Office Buildings including the Northpark Professional Building, PalMed Medical Office building, which included a mall and parking garage, and two Class A office buildings located in Broward County. He currently owns and operates over 25 buildings in five counties.
In 1975 he started R & M Electronics with a childhood friend. He parlayed his success and by 1983 he was the owner of five auto parts stores and two car radio stores all accomplished while continuing as the managing partner in R & M Electronics.
Mr. Osheroff became the largest auto parts distributor in South Florida, owning a total of eight retail auto parts stores. At the same time, he also grew the electronics company into Elite Marine, one of the largest Marine Electronics distributors in South Florida. In 1997 he sold all of the auto parts stores and distribution rights.
In 2002, Marc purchased Broward Motorsports with an ex-employee and friend. He has since then grown the business to be a four-location, 28 franchise dealership.
Albert Santalo is a computer scientist and Internet entrepreneur with experience in high growth, venture-backed technology companies. He has raised in excess of $100 million of equity capital from venture and angel investors for companies he has founded. Most recently, he co-founded Thrillient, a financial technology and services company thats assists traditional and e-commerce businesses with utilizing state-of-the-art payment and front-office technologies. He is currently advising various technology ventures including rampEX, a virtual-reality company focused on soft-skills training.
Previously, he was Chairman and CEO of CareCloud, a company he founded in 2009 that is working to disrupt the status quo of healthcare IT with a modern, cloud-based platform. CareCloud is backed by Norwest Venture Partners, Intel Capital, Tenaya Capital, First Data Corporation, PNC Bank and Adams Street Partners.
Previously, Santalo was Chairman and CEO of Avisena, a venture-backed revenue cycle management company he founded for physicians that was acquired in 2015. Prior to Avisena, he worked at the Hackett Group / Answerthink (NASDAQ: HCKT), a management and technology consulting firm, where he served as a director in the IT Transformation and Strategy Practice. During his tenure at Answerthink, he worked with Global 2000 companies, assisting them with technology strategy and transformation initiatives. He is the lead inventor and has a U.S. patent for Avisena’s Accounts Receivable Management Methodology.
Jim Sayih is a Florida based entrepreneur, Ironman Triathlete and Fitness Expert. Mr. Sayih served a distinguished 20-year career with the Miami Police Department, retired a Police Lieutenant. He is an adjunct professor at Broward College, teaching Health Sciences. Mr. Sayih also served 6 years in the US Air Force. Mr. Sayih is the Executive Director of the Non-Profit Special Compass, which serves the disability community for affordable housing as well as inclusion in sporting events. Mr. Sayih is an active philanthropist serving local charities including Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals, Best Buddies, Dolphin’s Cancer Challenge and United Cerebral Palsy.
Since 1994 Mr. Sayih has helped thousands of police, firefighters, civilians and military transform their health through his 911 Fitness organization. Recently inducted into the Personal Trainer Hall of Fame, Mr. Sayih has two fitness centers in South Florida. The President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports Awarded Mr. Sayih the coveted Community Leadership Award for his commitment to serving others and helping the American Diabetes Association. He co-authored National Best Seller with Jack Canfield, The Success Secret.
In 1998, Mr. Sayih started the 911 Fitness Challenge, a national weight loss program benefitting the Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals. Every year, thousands participate to improve their health within their corporate worksite and personally.
As an industry leader Mr. Simon has over 30 years of technology experience and has owned many well-known companies. From 1985 to 2001 he served as SVP and Co founder of ABC Cellular, one of the largest Agents for AT&T Wireless in the United States and the largest Cellular company in Florida with over 250,000 clients. ABC operated a successful paging network with over 100,000 users and over 350 employees that was sold in 2001. ABC Cellular also operated in all of Costco Wholesale stores on the east coast of the US, with sales exceeding $20M per year.
For the last 15 years Mr. Simon has served as CEO of ABC Telecom, a Technology Company providing sales and service of telecom equipment, carrier services, network design and implementation for over 3,500 businesses.
Larry Whiteside Jr. currently serves as vice president of healthcare and critical infrastructure in the Office of the CISO at Optiv. Whiteside also is co-founder and executive vice president of the International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals (ICMCP).
Prior to Optiv, Whiteside served as the chief security officer at Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA), an organization that supplies cost-effective electricity for Central Texas, manages water supplies and floods in the lower Colorado River basin, provides public parks, and supports community development in 58 Texas counties. Whiteside also worked at Comodo as corporate strategy advisor to the CEO, Lynx Technology Partners as CSO, Spectrum Health as CISO and director of enterprise operations, and Visiting Nurse Service of NY as CISO.
Whiteside started his career as an officer in the United States Air Force and separated in 2002. He served as chief, information warfare/network security divisions and chief, network security division – single agency manager for the Air Force at the Pentagon. In recognition for his achievements, Whiteside received the Company Grade Officer of the Year award for his units in 1997 and 2000, and a nomination for the National Information Security Executive of the Year in 2009 and 2010.
Whiteside received his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science at Huston-Tillotson University. He is an active member in various industry organizations such as Information System Security Association (ISSA), Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and multiple industry-based security committees dedicated to strengthening security in the public sector. Whiteside is a well-respected security expert, having briefed individuals at some of the highest levels of Department of Defense. He also is a thought leader in the industry with extensive experience presenting at conferences such as the Gartner Security Summit, RSA Conference and SC World Congress, and has been featured in many articles relating to information security and risk management.

Mr. Wilson was most recently VP/GM for Secunia, a security software company which was acquired by Flexera software in 2015. Mr. Wilson was responsible for the full P&L of North American and a member of the executive leadership team. Mr. Wilson has held senior level management positions with technology companies in Europe and Asia. Mr. Wilson has participated in 5 successful acquisitions including 1 IPO.
Mr. Wilson is an avid runner and triathlete with 2:23 marathon PR and a 10:18 Ironman top 20 finish. Mr. Wilson is married with 2 children and lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
