Mark Amarant

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

An industry veteran of over 25 years, Mr. Amarant has been involved in all areas of communications, having founded, operated, and sold several successful companies. From 1994 to 2011, he served as Founder and Chief Executive Officer of STS Telecom, a Florida-based VoIP provider.

At STS Mark developed industry innovations in customer service, billing, credit, collections, sales, and marketing. STS operated under licenses from the FCC and the Florida Public Service Commission. Mr. Amarant achieved high growth in STS’s core cloud infrastructure and leveraging relationships with its Value Added Resellers (VAR), who successfully sold STS’s services to commercial businesses. In over a decade as CEO, Mr. Amarant paid out approximately $4 million per year in on-time commission payments and sales bonuses to STS’s Value Added Reseller (VAR) partners.

In March of 2011, STS Telecom was purchased by EarthLink (Nasdaq: ELNK). Prior to the EarthLink purchase, STS was named to the list of Top 50 Agent Programs of 2011 by PHONE+ magazine. By 2011, STS had become one of the largest Interconnect companies in Florida.

John Christly

Senior VP of Cybersecurity / CISO

Mr. Christly leads cybersecurity and compliance efforts which provide support to in-house corporate teams, as well as customers and partners. He has over 27 years of industry experience including general management, revenue growth and retention, go-to-market strategy, product development, business operations, and cybersecurity strategy. He brings extensive cybersecurity expertise in both cyber attack detection, prevention, and response as well as computer, mobile, cloud, and social forensic analysis.

John formerly served as the Global CISO for Netsurion and EventTracker, where he was responsible for corporate information security and compliance and he oversaw a compliance portfolio of over 13,000 customers. Previous to that he served as the CISO and HIPAA Security Officer for Nova Southeastern University in Florida. He is also the co-founder and CEO for OMC Systems, a Florida-based cybersecurity advisory firm. He also has served as the HIPAA Security Officer for Memorial Healthcare System, a multi-hospital public healthcare system. As Chief of Security, he also created and led the computer forensics division for eTERA Consulting, a firm located in Washington, D.C. that served AMLAW 100 clients.

He is an MSI Senior Fellow™ and holds various certifications including the ISC2 CISSP, PMP, Certified Fraud Examiner, Access Data Certified Examiner, HIPAA Security Specialist, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Certified Kaizen Facilitator, Certified Anti-Terrorism Specialist, and is a Licensed Private Investigator. His experience includes several industry regulations including HIPAA, HITECH, GLBA, FERPA, FCPA, FIPA, ISO, and PCI DSS.

As an accomplished author and blogger, his articles have appeared in publications such as Security Magazine, Executive Insight Magazine, 24/7 Magazine, and the ISSA Journal. He is frequently quoted in industry news sources, and is often a keynote and panel speaker at international, national, and regional events.

Brock Mowry

Chief Technology Officer

Mr Mowry has over 16 years of entrepreneurial Cloud and IT experience, Mr. Mowry leads the overall technology strategy of the company. This includes architecting, implementing and maintaining a secure, multi-tenant, service-provider level cloud technologies in large and complex environments. Mr. Mowry is well respected in the cloud community due to his in-depth knowledge and experience of cloud computing, with a strong focus on enterprise level infrastructure, networking, storage and virtualization platforms. He is an active member of the customer advisory board for well known, publicly traded companies, such as Tintri Storage and Cisco Systems, where he provides invaluable input towards their new product development. He also periodically participates as a panel speaker and SME to various industry local and national technology events.

Brock previously was the Managing Partner and Solutions Architect for a Managed Services Provider, which successfully served both national and international businesses with complex technology needs, including well recognized franchises, many which remained loyal customers for over 10 years. He earlier held a Director position for a cloud computing company, where he was responsible for a team of cloud engineers who re-designed and maintained the company’s technology infrastructure. Also, responsible for deployment of client projects, ranging from small business cloud infrastructures to enterprise cloud based deployments of Microsoft, Citrix, and Linux environments. Mr. Mowry brings a proven track record when it comes to keeping up with rapidly changing technologies. He has achieved many advanced training and Professional Certifications, which include: VMware, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Microsoft, NetApp and Citrix, among many others.

Vice President of Operations

Martin Rodriguez

Chief Operating Officer

With almost two decades in the Telecommunications industry, Mr. Rodriguez is responsible for oversight of Operations and Engineering, with a focus on white-glove customer service, project management, process discovery and re-engineering, along with implementation of business intelligence and IT systems. Martin previously worked as Vice President of Operations at Data2Go Wireless, where he successfully led systems development and automation efforts.

He earlier served as Director of Hosted Services at EarthLink Business, where he led technical operations, while maintaining a customer centric approach and driving profitable revenue through operational efficiency. His role focused on developing and implementing an integration strategy for the newly acquired STS Telecom into EarthLink’s rapidly changing operations.

Prior to Earthlink’s acquisition of STS Telecom, Martin served in multiple positions. Starting as Manager of the Network Operations Center, he was later made Director of Business Engineering and finally promoted to Vice President of Operations. Martin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, as well as an Executive MBA.

Steven Roth

Chief Revenue Officer

Mr. Roth is responsible for oversight of revenue generation across all WHOA.com companies and lines of business and will work closely with the WHOA.com leadership team developing multiple revenue strategies that leverage all products and services within our portfolio. Mr. Roth brings more than three decades of senior sales and senior sales management expertise, including Technical Staffing, IT Projects, Cloud, Cyber Security, Data Center Operations and Monitoring.

Mr. Roth previously lead U.S. Digital Sales for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) providing business with Cyber Security, Data Center Monitoring and Application Development software tools. Prior to joining HPE, Mr. Roth spent several years with Dell where he was responsible for building and driving global sales for Dell’s Cloud practice including Private, Public and Hybrid Cloud solutions. The Dell Cloud practice under Mr. Roth’s leadership developed a partner ecosystem including partnerships with MS Azure, AWS, Centurylink and Google cloud. Under Mr. Roth’s leadership the Dell Cloud grew to a team over 100 dedicated cloud employees generating over $200M in cloud services revenue by the time of his departure.

Mr. Roth worked closely with teams across all Dell’s verticals and served as Dell’s cloud evangelist training thousands of internal employees and speaking around the world on Dell’s cloud point of view. Mr. Roth also worked as a sales leader for Taleo Business Edition, Resource Technologies and The Chubb Institute. Mr. Roth has a B.S. in Business Management
